It started in 2021 when David Hurst from the Life church in ST Pete had a burden for prison ministry. After 2.5 years of trying to get behind bars and working with various ministers and research he finally got into Pinellas County jail in spring of 2023.

The vision God gave him was not just a one church ministry or one jail ministry. It was to reach the entire Tampa Bay area. Since Pinellas jail it has grown to now several churches across Tampa into 4 facilities such as Pinellas jail, Manatee County jail Zephyrhills prison and Hillsborough County jail.

The goal is to continue to reach inmates and see them baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost. Then when they are released in efforts to connect them with churches and programs to help continue their growth with God.
